Scale-up Onemeeting.com offers convenience and is growing rapidly
Compare and book directly with an independent meeting platform
Onemeeting.com is a fast-growing intermediary in the business meeting industry and offers a total range of meeting and conference locations for companies, organizations, institutions and governments. In 2019, the platform mediated >22.000 meetings internationally for more than 3.000 clients. Onemeeting.com is a digital booking platform for all types of meetings and concludes business meeting contracts with corporate customers and (semi) government institutions.
Entrepreneur Luc van Bussel is an important driving force behind the scale-up. In the past year, the company invested heavily in software technology, image and the team. Van Bussel: “Business bookers can search online and compare between more than 1.600 meeting locations in the Netherlands. We distinguish ourselves with a team of more than 40 Meeting Experts that you can call directly for free for a booking. They are also a highly personal point of contact for customers who want to organize several meetings per year. After all, hospitality is about personal contact.”
Ease
Thanks to the advanced algorithm, bookers can immediately pass on all their wishes that are needed at the chosen location. From presentation materials to lunch. Hospitality and convenience are key. Both for bookers and for locations that do not want to operate their own marketing, sales and reservation department. With the new concept 'Get Connected', Onemeeting.com offers these locations every comfort. “More and more special locations such as museums, stadiums and cinemas have beautiful, inspiring spaces for meetings. There is often a lack of operating capacity to market these spaces and to organize all commercial and administrative processes,” says Kevin van Grondelle, Commercial Manager Onemeeting.com BV With this approach, non-traditional meeting locations can also be booked directly online. The platform also offers them a full-time Meeting Expert who takes over all reservation and administration matters.
International
Now that the coverage in the Netherlands is already excellent, the step abroad is obvious. Luc van Bussel: “We are already working on opening up a network of 280.000 locations all over the world. Currently, our Meeting Experts can select and propose these locations. But of course our wish is to be able to book these directly online via the platform. We are working hard on that.”
Sustainability
Onemeeting.com is also launching the option to book every meeting CO2, climate neutral. “We developed this new service based on a growing demand from and important trend in the market. The (semi) governments in particular emphasize the desire to book and organize a meeting sustainably and consciously,” says Madeloes van Rooijen-Karremans, Director of Onemeeting.com BV The CO2 emissions have been calculated for each arrangement in collaboration with Groenbalans. For a small contribution, the emissions of meetings are voluntarily offset by investing in the Gold Standard CO2 offset project 'Cleaner Cook Stoves' in Africa.
