The Ronald McDonald Children's Fund is the central organization behind the Ronald McDonald houses, living rooms and holiday homes in the Netherlands. Their aim is to keep families as close together as possible. By supporting parents at a time when a child is sick and hospitalized.
Challenge
Within the Ronald McDonald Children's Fund I am Team Manager Services. That means that I and my team are responsible for internal affairs. This includes the donor administration, ICT, overarching facility projects and also valuing and training the volunteers. We cannot exist without their commitment. In 1900, we developed a training offer for our 2015 volunteers to thank them for their work. We call this the Learning House. With this we offer training courses that directly help the volunteers to do their volunteer work better and in which they also enrich themselves as a person. We were looking for different training locations in central locations throughout the Netherlands, to make it accessible for all volunteers. We aim to be an A brand as a charity, so we were also looking for an A brand in meetings.
Collaboration arises
There were already contacts with Onemeeting.com because Regardz Hospitality Group is a sponsor who thinks along with us at all levels. The Leerhuis was developed in collaboration with NCOI and Regardz Hospitality Group.

Our Houses are of course not set up to facilitate training. Onemeeting.com helped us find the right solution for all these trainings. With the Leerhuis we are at different locations, always with the same quality.
Benefits
The days are so well cared for and hospitable that the volunteers really experience these days as a gift. This fits perfectly in the picture of what we want to achieve. In addition, Onemeeting.com has completely taken over all contact with the various locations from me, so I only had contact with one Meeting Expert. That just saves me a lot of work. I also find the invoicing very useful. Afterwards I receive a well-detailed invoice per location, which makes it easy to keep track of the accounts.
