As a psychologist, I focus on the problems that arise when the balance in someone's life is disturbed. The balance between being active and relaxing, thinking and feeling, must and want, capacity and burden. In my practice, people learn to restore their inner balance and make healthy choices. A method I use to make balance and imbalance visible is biofeedback, which uses measurements on the body to show whether someone is tense or relaxed.
Challenge
Because of my enthusiasm for biofeedback, I started teaching psychologists and physiotherapists. My goal is to offer practical courses with lots of opportunity to practice and experience. This means that biofeedback equipment is used during the course. In addition to the devices, tables with workstations are sometimes required at the side of the room. In addition to Dutch courses, we also offer courses in English to teach foreign therapists in biofeedback. They need hotel accommodation.
Collaboration arises
I live in Amersfoort and was looking for space there, also because Amersfoort is so centrally located. Then I finally came to Meeting Center Eenhoorn a beautiful location that is easily accessible from the station. We have been there for about five years now.

For me, the biggest problem was estimating the number of participants in a course. If you are too careful you run the risk of renting a room that is too small, but if you are too ambitious it can cost you money because you have rented a room that is too large and the number of students is disappointing. This is especially difficult with newly developed courses. Booking online and then emailing about any adjustments was a bit difficult. You helped us by relaxing the conditions with regard to the number of participants and by introducing an evaluation period for this and by arranging hotel Mercure for us.

We have fixed price agreements and the planning is clear to me, everything is arranged in time and I no longer have to worry about availability. And I no longer have to book online, I can hand over a number of things.
Result
