Onemeeting.com is ISO 27001 certified
As of June 1, 2021, Onemeet.com – Home of Meetings is officially ISO 27001 certified. A successful audit carried out by Kiwa has shown that the intermediary meets all points of the standard for information security requirements. During the corona crisis, Onemeeting.com invested in information security to show customers, locations and partners that it is a reliable and safe partner.
What does ISO 27001 mean for customers, locations and partners?
Information security applies to the primary and supporting processes of Onemeeting.com, to unburden you from booking to payment for business meetings, meetings, overnight stays and conferences. For Onemeeting.com Chief Technology Officer Jose del Olmo, this is an important milestone for the company to demonstrate its responsible approach to information security.
Onemeeting.com successfully completed the audit in collaboration with Stonefield. “Certification makes quality recognizable and with that Onemeet.com will distinguish itself. By obtaining this ISO/IEC 27001 certificate, Onemeeting.com is setting an example,” says Bjorn Steenveld, director of Stonefield Digital Security.
ISO 27001:2017 aims to bring the security level within Onemeeting.com to a necessary basic level and thus promote mutual trust between Onemeeting.com and customers, locations and suppliers. The guideline for this is formed by the Information Security Policy. This describes how to deal with information security. “With an awareness campaign developed in-house and matching e-learning about working safely with digital resources, the awareness of our employees has been greatly increased,” says Frans Hulshof, Security Officer.

The past period was (because of the corona crisis) an eventful year for Onemeeting.com. Physical gatherings were no longer allowed and many locations were temporarily closed.
