Rooms in Capital-C

Woman in a chair in a room with many clocks on the wall

   The Clock Tower

Erik Kessels, known for his work in advertising, took a unique approach when designing The Clock Tower. He transformed this meeting room with a collection of repurposed clocks covering the walls and ceiling. In this meeting room you work around the clock on… what you want. A board meeting, a team building day, a coaching session or rent the space as a VIP lounge. The space consists of two floors and can be found in the historic bell tower of our building. As soon as the time is up, all the bells (yes, really all) ring the final signal. How do you stop this? You won't understand that until you're there (spoiler alert: it's something with a red button).

   The essential

A large table, chairs and a coat rack. No clutter, no distractions. Sabine Marcelis' characteristic (meeting) room fully matches her minimalist style. A large glass plate balancing on a single leg functions as a table, surrounded by the iconic SE69 chairs by Martin Visser, which Sabine has subtly renewed. It creates a stylized, but warm space. The light object above the table and the colors of the other objects in the room are shrouded in warm, bright tones that illuminate every meeting.

   The Modern Fossil

Dirk van der Kooij's meeting room is an ode to the end of an era of records and CDs. The centerpiece of the room is a conference table made from parts of old record players. You may not think about it much, but CDs are among the most difficult to recycle materials from the 2000s. Dirk van der Kooij found a way to reuse them in the form of the characteristic lamp that hangs above the table. In addition to recycled CDs, they consist of skylights and chocolate molds (no joke).

   The Pink Salon

The Pink Salon is without a doubt the most colorful meeting room of Capital C. This meeting room, designed by Ineke Hans, one of the most successful designers in the Netherlands, is perfect for (creative) brainstorms, meetings, workshops, training, strategy sessions, presentations, or even a power nap. The ten Roald chairs in the room can be flexibly placed in the room. The chairs are inspired by the chair on which Roald Dahl wrote his children's books.

Empty room in Capital C. The Skyscape

   The Skyscape

The Skyscape is one of the larger meeting rooms and can accommodate up to 70 people. Perfect for larger presentations, training sessions, workshops and smaller conferences (or just some me-time). With his head in the clouds. That's where designer Richard Hutten sat while designing 'The Skyscape'. In this meeting room, suitable for large groups, you can escape worldly reality for a while.

Empty room in Capital C. The Round Room.

   The Round Room

The meeting room The Round Room arose spontaneously, it was never the intention of designer duo Remy & Veenhuizen to build a space around round objects. But it just happened. The Tube Table, a circular masterpiece constructed entirely from cardboard tubes, serves as the basis for the entire design. Fortunately, this versatile meeting room does not depend on chance. It is the perfect setting for meetings, workshops, training, brainstorms, strategy sessions, small networking events and breakout sessions.

   The Above

The Above is a spacious meeting room equipped with a stage (grab that stage). The Above is a spacious breakout room with a stage and a view. This is located next to The Beyond, a similar space. The breakout room offers space for up to 70 people next to the built-in stage. The wall separating the two spaces is flexible and can be removed to make room for up to 140 people in the larger space.
The Above is the ideal event location for presentations, product launches, and conferences that require breakout spaces.

What guests say…

Friendly staff & delicious food!

“It was great evening at Capital C! Especially the staff was really helpful and friendly. It's a varying menu and the vegan and vegetarian options are really delicious. Also they have a really good cocktail; the espresso Martini with a twist! After dinner we stayed for drinks at the bar, that made the evening complete! I definitely will recommend Capital Kitchen to my friends.”

Truly a great location!

“This is truly a great location! A historical building “The Diamond fair square” has been transformed into a great building for events, meetings, presentation, party, business or personal. A true service with a great and friendly staff. Very professional and everything has been organized very well. Don't forget to ask for the grant tour so you can experience the “tour the artist” and the historical trade of the Diamonds.”
