We are Onemeeting – a certified B Corporation connecting corporate meeting bookers with a national network of professional meeting venues: hotels, conference venues, and meeting centers. Connecting the Meeting Business is our mission. Through our hybrid booking platform, we offer organizations maximum control and flexibility. Clients book independently through their personal accounts or engage our specialized Meeting Experts for advice and coordination. With over 1.500 locations, real-time availability, and nationwide coverage, we facilitate scalable solutions for organizations with high meeting intensity. In 2025, we realized more than 15.000 bookings for over 1.500 clients, including 100+ contract clients with centrally facilitated appointments. Our services combine efficiency and transparency with a single platform, a single contract, and a single point of contact for the entire meeting lifecycle—from request to evaluation.

The People & Culture department supports all Onemeeting teams and is responsible for developing and implementing the People & Culture policy. We guide colleagues throughout their entire career within the organization, from induction to departure, and through our Colleague Journey, we transform ordinary moments into special ones. We also advise on employment law and terms of employment, provide guidance on absenteeism, and monitor HR laws and regulations. We also manage personnel and payroll administration, assist with recruitment and selection, facilitate training, and manage internal communications related to our Kindest Together cultural program. Finally, we manage various collective benefits, such as insurance and pensions.

The internship location

As a People & Culture Intern, you'll support the team, which includes four people, with all operational and policy-related tasks. We always start the week with a joint weekly meeting, where we discuss current events and the upcoming agenda. Based on the weekly meeting, we'll allocate the week's tasks and get things off to a productive start. We'll also immediately review any outstanding tasks and notifications in Afas InSite, our HRM and Payroll software.

A selection of your tasks and responsibilities

  • Answering various HR-related questions from location directors and department heads, for example about the application of the collective labor agreement, absenteeism, vacancies, etc.;
  • Thinking about how we can further improve internal communication;
  • Contribute to project groups, such as Sustainable Employability;
  • Coordinating and carrying out personnel administration (drawing up employment contracts, confirmation letters, employer statements, job profiles, etc.);
  • Contribute to the further development and implementation of our Kindest cultural policy, for example, preparing and executing elections such as the Employee of the Year Election, creating activity calendars and communicating with employees through Oneteam, our internal communication app;
  • Further develop and implement labor market communication policies, including attending (online) internship fairs, maintaining contact with school internship agencies, and posting vacancies.

Your profile 

  • Are you available at least 4 days a week (5 days is a bonus) and can you work on your thesis or report in consultation;
  • Are you following a higher professional education course (Higher Hotel School or Human Resource Management);
  • Do you have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
  • Are you independent, enterprising and do you dare to take initiative without anyone asking?
  • Are you ambitious, eager to learn, warm in contact and crazy about new challenges;
  • Are you empathetic and honest?
