Conference rooms

The Governor's Room welcomes guests for meetings, events, staff parties, presentations, and conferences for up to 100 people. You and your guests will be completely taken care of, with the kitchen team handling food and drinks. Various seating arrangements are possible: theater style for up to 80 guests, walking dinner for up to 100 guests (up to 180 people in Jacob's Bar), cabaret style for up to 64 guests, and dinner style for up to 64 guests. Additionally, gatherings can take place in Jacob's Bar and The Patio. During a multi-day event, guests can enjoy an overnight stay at the adjacent Conscious Hotel, with which we collaborate. Please contact us regarding options for total exclusivity for up to 500 people.

Food and drinks

Union House has its own kitchen where the most delicious dishes are prepared with care. It is not possible to bring your own food, drinks, or an external caterer. Naturally, wishes can be discussed, after which the kitchen will assess how to accommodate them. Food waste is minimized as much as possible by serving on request. Prior to each event, there is a clear understanding of the number of guests and their preferences, allowing purchasing to be precisely tailored accordingly. Local and seasonal ingredients are used, and 100% vegetarian options are available as standard for all corporate events. Coffee and tea come from plantations that absorb more CO₂ than they emit, with a fair price for the farmers. Dairy and juices are organic. Paper, plastic, glass, and food waste are separated to limit residual waste.

Events and parties

At Union House, the atmospheric space is ideal for various occasions, such as festive drinks, a birthday party, a team outing, an elaborate family dinner, or a stylish high tea for 20 to 100 people. Union House is happy to translate your wishes into a suitable program. Capacity: seated lunch up to 64 guests, walking dinner up to 64 guests, drinks up to 100 guests, and walking dinner up to 100 guests.

Wedding

Union House is also a wedding venue. The Governor's Room is an atmospheric space suitable for an intimate ceremony. For the toast and cake, you can go to the courtyard or Jacob's Bar, overlooking the restaurant and the iconic Tivoli stage. The kitchen then carefully prepares a dinner. The Governor's Room is a stylish space that is perfectly suited for the ceremony. Thanks to the large windows, plenty of daylight streams in, creating a bright and open atmosphere. Authentic details and a classic finish make the whole an intimate place where style and charm come together. Capacity: ceremony up to 80 guests, drinks up to 100 guests, walking dinner up to 100 guests, and seated dinner up to 64 guests.

The aim is to make the most sustainable choices wherever possible regarding the products and materials used to deliver services. Accessibility and parking

There is no direct parking right next door at Union House, but the Springweg parking garage is located a 3-minute walk away. Union House is also easily accessible by public transport. The bus stop is 150 meters away and Utrecht Central Station is approximately 1,1 kilometers away.

Hotel rooms and overnight stays

The location does not have hotel rooms. However, it is possible to stay overnight at the adjacent Conscious Hotel, with which we collaborate, during a multi-day meeting.

Terms & conditions

In the event of cancellations, the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry apply, which include the following cancellation percentages, which are calculated based on the reservation value applicable at that time:

• Between 3 months and 6 months before arrival date 10%
• Between 2 months and 3 months before arrival date 15%
• Between 1 month and 2 months before arrival date 35%
• Between 14 days and 1 month before arrival date 60%
• Between 7 days and 14 days before arrival date 85%
• Within 7 days before arrival date 100%
