Food and drinks

The chef of The Hague Conference Centre uses worldly recipes to provide international guests with an excellent culinary experience. Breads and cookies are freshly baked on site, and all salads are homemade. In addition, guests can enjoy fresh Italian bean coffee, prepared with professional espresso machines. During meetings, fair trade teas and fresh mint tea or ginger tea are also available.

Growing

The Hague Conference Centre is actively committed to sustainability and strives to have a positive impact on the environment. Since 1 January 2024, it has been working with Greenbookings, an organisation that contributes to a better climate, more biodiversity and healthy living conditions by planting trees in collaboration with Life Terra. Through an online savings system, 5000% is automatically saved for planting trees for every booking of €0,5 or more. Customers can choose to double this percentage, which further increases the ecological impact. In July 2024, The Hague Conference Centre also obtained the Green Key Gold certificate. Green Key is an internationally recognised quality mark for sustainability in the recreation, leisure and business sector. Companies with this quality mark make extra efforts to save the environment without compromising the comfort and quality for their guests, and go beyond what is required by law.

From The Hague Central Station you can reach the location from Anna van Buerenplein or Koningin Julianaplein (Stationsplein). By car you can easily park from the A12 in Qpark CS-New Babylon. In case of cancellations, the Uniform Conditions for the Hospitality Industry apply (UVH) which includes the following cancellation percentages, which are calculated on the reservation value applicable at that time:

More than 6 months before arrival date: 0%
Between 3 months and 6 months before arrival date: 10%
Between 2 months and 3 months before arrival date: 15%
Between 1 month and 2 months before arrival date: 35%
Between 14 days and 1 month before arrival date: 60%
Between 7 days and 14 days before arrival date: 85%
Within 7 days before arrival date: 100%

In addition to the UVH, different conditions apply at New Babylon for groups of more than 100 people. These are available upon request.
