Conference rooms

Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ has several rooms, the Entrance Hall, the Main Hall, the Small Hall and the Atrium Hall. Your guests are received and registered in the Entrance Hall, where the cloakroom is located. Catering can be provided in this space. With direct access to the terrace, this is a nice place for a drink. The Great Hall has a capacity for 725 guests in theater style, multiple configurations are possible. What makes the room unique is that it has LED lighting all around and a movable floor. The Small Hall has a capacity of 120 guests. This room has a glass facade that provides access to Foyer Deck 3. Here you can enjoy a great 180 degree view of the IJ and Amsterdam. The Atrium Hall has a capacity for 110 guests and the adjacent Atrium can serve as a reception and drinks room. This is also the place during SAIL; it has an exclusive terrace, giving you a unique view of the tall ships.

Food and drinks

The 4'33 Grand Café is located on the ground floor of the Music Building. The grand café is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00 a.m.; on Mondays only on concert evenings. 4'33 Grand Café can also provide catering for all your events.

Events and parties

The rooms are extremely flexible. This makes the Muziekgebouw suitable for all possible events. Consider, for example: conferences, dinners, presentations, drinks and fashion shows. Almost anything is possible in the Muziekgebouw. The complete technical implementation of your event can be fully taken care of. The location has a large team of professional light/sound and projection technicians who can fulfill all your wishes.

Growing

Sustainability was taken into account from the start when designing the Music Building. Measures to keep energy consumption as low as possible and to use the energy used as efficiently as possible have already been incorporated by the architects into the design of the building. The Music Building also has almost 1000 solar panels on the roof. Many of the materials used are sustainable. The environment is also taken into account as much as possible in the daily use of the building. The municipality of Amsterdam has awarded the Music Building with energy label A.

Accessibility and parking

The Muziekgebouw is a 10-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. You can also take tram 26 from Amsterdam Central Station. This stops right in front of the door after 1 stop. There are several parking garages near the Music Building, including the Piet Heingarage. This is located under the building and provides direct access to the Entrance Hall. To add something extra to your event, it is even possible to arrive by boat.

In the event of cancellations, the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry apply, which include the following cancellation percentages, which are calculated based on the reservation value applicable at that time:

• Between 3 months and 6 months before arrival date 10%
• Between 2 months and 3 months before arrival date 15%
• Between 1 month and 2 months before arrival date 35%
• Between 14 days and 1 month before arrival date 60%
• Between 7 days and 14 days before arrival date 85%
• Within 7 days before arrival date 100%
