De Huismeesters are DS51's hospitality partner, with a combined reception & espresso bar for a warm welcome and taking care of all catering for meetings and events. The friendly team makes DS51 a vibrant place with a personal welcome, a nice atmosphere and delicious coffee, breakfast & lunch.
Events and parties
Bar51 The historic brown café 'Daalder' is located in the basement of DS51. This café has been there since the mid-90s and has never before been accessible to the wider public. A great place for an evening with colleagues after a day of meetings or to throw a party for no reason. Consider organizing a pub quiz, karaoke evening or a tear-jerker festival. Everything is possible, even on weekends. Roof terrace A spectacular roof terrace with a view over the center of Utrecht. The perfect place for a drink or barbecue with the team.

Everything can be organized from workshops and tastings to BBQs on the roof terrace.
Growing
Solar panels, a sedum roof with 15.000 honey bees that contribute to biodiversity in the city, and a facade made of 100% recyclable material all contribute to a sustainable building. But just as important are the large windows that provide plenty of light and climate ceilings that ensure an optimal indoor climate. The interior has also been designed with sustainability as a starting point. The design is timeless, which means objects are replaced less quickly and we extend the lifespan of the interior. The rooms are furnished with 90% second life furniture and will have a completely new life in DS51. DS51 has a BREEAM-NL “Excellent” certificate.
Accessibility and parking
Due to its location next to the most important railway junction in the Netherlands and within walking distance of Utrecht CS, Daalsesingel 51 is optimally accessible by public transport. The location also has its own parking garage under the building where you can easily park via ParkBee.
