Conscious Together, Conscious Together

Together we build our company every day A meaningful organization. Our 3D business model (business, culture & impact) fosters warm and valuable connections with all stakeholders and society. As a B Corp, we invest in these connections and are proud of our Great Place to Work certification with a Trust Index™ score of 87%.

As a pioneer in the meeting industry, we want to become, be, and remain a purpose-driven, meaningful organization in which the power of human connection and human encounters takes center stage. Our collaborations with the Ronald McDonald House Netherlands, Food Banks Netherlands, and JINC give meaning to our role in society. Conscious Together, Conscious Together is our meaningful mission with which we shape a valuable future.

Onemeeting is a B Corp!

As of April 2025, Onemeeting will be officially B Corp-certified™. B Corp is an internationally recognized quality mark for companies that excel in social and environmental performance, transparency, and responsible business practices. Our decision to embark on the process of becoming a B Corp stems from our belief that profit and impact can go hand in hand. By taking this step, we aim to set an example in our industry and inspire our customers, (venue) partners, and employees to build a fair and sustainable future together. Achieving B Corp certification is not only a wonderful recognition for us, but above all, a guiding principle to strengthen our ambitions and create lasting value.

Our Impact pillars

Applying focus and making choices is an important part of our impact strategy. We have therefore defined three impact pillars. In this way, we can work and communicate very purposefully, make our impact measurable and always raise our bar a little higher.

Good Employer

  • Our organization is built on family values and 'kindness' or 'Kindest' is our magic word. Being kind to each other, to ourselves and to our partners & relations. We believe in the power of a warm corporate culture in this digital society. The family and collegial atmosphere is the basis for our warm corporate culture in which everyone feels like a fish in water. All this is confirmed by the fact that we are Great Place To Work-Certified™.

Society

  • Our connection with the market, our customers, guests, colleagues and other relations inspires us to take responsibility for a pleasant society. We recognize the challenges that society faces today, such as climate change, social inequality and economic uncertainty. That is why we are determined to proactively contribute to social initiatives that are close to our hearts.

Environment & Climate

  • The climate is making itself heard. We may well be the last generation that can slow down climate change. That is why we are determined to reduce our ecological footprint by consciously and responsibly dealing with the environment & climate. And of course we compensate for the (still unavoidable) residual emissions. We do not do this alone, because we encourage our stakeholders to do the same. Because together you make more impact on a better climate.

We are a great place to work!

As a family business, we believe first and foremost in the "human power" of our colleagues. Our people make our company, and we consider it our most important task to make everyone feel at home within our organization. We believe that people give their best when they feel at home within the organization. Our goal is therefore to be a diverse, equal, and inclusive organization for everyone! An organization where differences are acknowledged without judgment, and even utilized. We are convinced that differences help us be more creative and innovative. Based on the independent Trust Index™ employee survey by Great Place To Work, Onemeeting once again achieved the designation of good employer in 2025 with a response rate of 100% and an overall score of 87%.

Our Social Partners

We work together with social partners who make an important positive contribution to society. We did not choose these partners at random. Their mission affects us and aligns with our own vision of social involvement. Moreover, some of our colleagues were already personally connected to these partners. Together with colleagues, customers, location partners and relations, we are committed to contributing to their mission. We do this in three ways: collecting donations, making facilities available and the commitment of our people.

Ronald McDonald House Netherlands

  • Since 2013, we have been a proud partner of the Ronald McDonald House Netherlands. For over 35 years, the Ronald McDonald House Netherlands has ensured that sick children and their families can be close to each other. Sick children feel better with their parents, brothers, and sisters nearby. Parents are better able to sustain their care with a place to rest close to their sick child. Hospitality is what brought us together. Together with our colleagues, customers, and location partners, we dedicate ourselves to contributing to their beautiful and heartwarming work. We do this, among other things, by raising as many donations as possible during our impact campaigns. With these donations, we realize 'night kisses'. One night kiss represents one overnight stay in a Ronald McDonald House.

JINC

  • Every child has talent. This includes the hundreds of thousands of Dutch children growing up in an environment with high unemployment and fewer role models. That's why JINC strives for a society where background doesn't determine future and where every child has the same opportunities. They help children aged 8 to 16 get a good start in the job market. Our partnership supports JINC's projects. For example, we offer lightning internships at our office and in our managed Meeting Centers to get children excited about our wonderful hospitality industry. We also provide job application training and participate in the "Boss of Tomorrow" program. This way, we offer as many children as possible a fair chance to grow.

Food banks Netherlands

  • More than a million people in the Netherlands live below the poverty line. Food banks help those who are truly struggling financially by providing them with temporary food aid. To ensure their clients have sufficient food, Voedselbanken Nederland (Dutch Food Banks) collaborates with businesses, institutions, municipalities, and individuals. Together, they combat poverty, eliminate food surpluses, and reduce the impact on the environment. We support Voedselbanken Nederland by collecting as many food parcels as possible during our impact campaigns and by lending a hand, along with colleagues, at one of the many Food Bank locations throughout the Netherlands.

Our contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were developed by the United Nations with the aim of building a greener, fairer and better world for our society by 2030. Because we face major challenges together when it comes to the liveability of our planet. We contribute to this by working towards the following SDGs:
The risk of food waste in our industry is high. On the one hand due to the unpredictability of the number of participants and on the other hand because the location wants to give their guests extensive choices. As an intermediary, we try to make both our customers and our affiliated locations aware of this and together we look at how we can prevent waste.

Partnership Food Banks Netherlands

We support Voedselbanken Nederland by collecting as many food parcels as possible during our impact weeks and by lending a hand at one of the many locations in the Netherlands.
We believe it is important that everyone gets a fair chance on the labor market. That is why we work together with various organizations to give people with a distance to the labor market a chance and offer multiple internships and lightning internships every year.

Internships
We offer internships to pupils and students from various study programs and institutions. From HBO graduation internships and master's theses at the University, to MBO year 1 to sniffing internships for secondary school students. The internships are aimed at providing practical experience and preparing young people for the labor market.

Purchasing and partnership with SMEs
We are a medium-sized and small business ourselves, which makes us extra aware. We see the importance of local partnerships and thus a fair distribution of profit within the chain. That is why we work as much as possible with local/Dutch suppliers for our ICT hosting, workplace design and food & drinks. That is good for the local economy, fair opportunities on the market, and because of the short distance from A to B, the environment is minimally burdened.

Great Place To Work Great Place To Work examines the level of trust, pride, and enjoyment within an organization. For over 30 years, Great Place To Work has been the authority on organizational culture. Based on Great Place To Work's independent Trust Index™ employee survey, Onemeeting was once again recognized as a good employer in 2025.

Code Responsible Market Conduct
The Code of Responsible Market Behavior appeals to the morale of clients and contractors, hirers, trade unions and intermediaries to place, accept and carry out assignments in a socially responsible manner and with respect for the quality of the service. In this way, this code provides an impulse to improve the outsourcing and insourcing policy of the Netherlands.

We have signed the Code. By doing so, we adhere to at least the general principles as stated on the Code of Responsible Market Conduct website.
Our goal is to be a diverse, equal and inclusive organization for everyone! An organization where differences are seen, without judgement, and even used.

UWV Employer Service Point (WSP)
We actively collaborate with the Amersfoort Employer Service Point (WSP). We share vacancies with our regular contact person and regularly attend Meet & Greets organized by the WSP. This allows us to meet potential future employees who are distanced from the job market. This way, we strive to fill our vacancies and facilitate work experience placements.

Partner of The Normalest Case
Since 2015, we have been a partner of De Normaalste Zaak. De Normaalste Zaak is a network of over 700 SME entrepreneurs and large employers. All partners of De Normaalste Zaak share the ambition: "To grow into an inclusive organization where people who were (previously) distanced from the labor market are fully integrated."

Partnership JINC
With our partnership we support the projects of JINC. For example, lightning internships take place at our Meeting Centers, so that we can make children enthusiastic about our wonderful hospitality profession. We also provide application training. In this way we offer as many children as possible a fair chance to grow.

No youth wages
Since 2022 we no longer work with youth wages, which means that everyone earns the skilled adult minimum wage when they are employed by us. We do this because we believe that regardless of your age you should earn the same as your (older) colleagues who do the same job.
By making more conscious choices in our purchasing process, reusing as many products as possible and separating our waste, we ensure that our ecological footprint remains as small as possible.

Climate neutral office
We are also aware of our impact in our office, whether it concerns large or small steps. Our work processes have been fully digitalized in recent years, we purchase responsibly, we separate our waste in 100% recyclable waste bins and are located in a Green Key Gold location. In addition to ensuring that our emissions remain as low as possible, we ultimately compensate our residual CO2 emissions via Groenbalans. That makes our office 100% climate neutral!

Sustainable purchasing
To buy means to consume. The question then is: does responsible consumption exist? Because: not consuming = always better for the world. After all, everything that is not produced does not consume any raw materials and does not produce any waste. At the same time, as an individual, but also as an organization, it is vital (literally) to continue to consume. And that is why we want to do this as responsibly as possible. This means purchasing as much as possible from (local) SMEs and purchasing as much as possible from sustainably certified organisations.
We are aware of climate change and are committed to making a positive contribution to a better climate. We have our CO2 footprint drawn up annually, strive to continuously reduce it and compensate our residual emissions via certified development projects. We also encourage our customers to make conscious choices when organizing their meetings and to compensate their residual emissions.

We offset our CO2 emissions
Since 2018, we have been offering 'climate-neutral meetings' on our booking platform Onemeeting.com. We do this in collaboration with Groenbalans. Because we work according to the principle of 'practice what you preach', our own office has been completely climate-neutral since 2019.

To get to this point, we first mapped out our CO2 emissions. We then reduced this as much as possible and compensated for the remaining emissions.

ESG on the agenda
Our economic, social and societal connection with the market, our customers, our guests, our colleagues, our affiliated location partners, our suppliers and all our other relations inspires us to do business in a social, social and responsible way. ESG is therefore always on the agenda in discussions with stakeholders. In this way, we continue to enter into discussions about sustainable, social and fair entrepreneurship. In this way, we inspire them and they inspire us.

Our inspiration platform WCARE.one
In 2022, we developed the inspiration platform WCARE.one. We bring together innovative sustainable solutions on a single platform and inspire hotels and meeting centers in the Netherlands to make their operations more sustainable. On our CSR platform, innovative and sustainable Dutch entrepreneurs demonstrate that sustainability is possible. And…it inspires. By sustainability, we mean reducing CO2 emissions, combating waste, participating in the circular economy, fair entrepreneurship, social return, and the broad social responsibility that organizations can take.

Our mission? Making meetings more sustainable and thus making an impact on a better world!

Green Meeting DEAL
The Green Meeting DEAL gives companies and organizations direct tools to reduce the CO2 footprint of all their meetings. Based on the insight into the meeting costs and CO2 footprint, a reduction & compensation plan is drawn up to organize all business meetings in a climate-neutral way. With the largest selection of sustainable Green Key locations and insight into the sustainability performance of connected locations, we guarantee CO2 reduction for meetings.

The residual CO2 is then compensated with certified CO2 rights from sustainable energy, forest conservation or energy efficiency projects in developing countries. These are projects with long-term benefits for local communities by creating more employment and improving the quality of health care and education. Groenbalans Nederland makes this possible for us.

Our (recent) Impact initiatives

Onemeeting launches personal Impact Day

  • During the Week of Work Happiness 2024, we introduced an IMPACT day for all employees. From now on, all employees will receive one special day off per year to make a personal contribution to a project or goal of their own choice. “In addition to all the wonderful national and local impact activities, we now give our employees the space for their own IMPACT DAY. We are convinced that this will make an extra contribution to the work happiness of our employees,” says Luc van Bussel, CEO Onemeeting.

Meetings Making Sustainable Together

  • As a Meeting Expert, we have set up a CSR Movement to 'Make Meetings Sustainable Together'. We bring innovative sustainable solutions together on one platform and inspire Hotels & Meeting Centers in the Netherlands to make their activities more sustainable. On the new CSR platform WCARE.one, Dutch, inventive and sustainable entrepreneurs show that sustainability is possible.

Proud partner of Ronald McDonald House Netherlands
